Part length

Each part becomes knowledge on its own. Parts join with no gap: the next part starts on the frame after the last one ends. Whatever the length, a part is read in equal pieces of at most 20 minutes and written up as one part: measured on 19 September, a longer single reading gave half the knowledge per minute.

For example, 60 records for one hour, including connection waits. The final part still becomes knowledge. Each explicit Start or Reconnect begins a new time window; automatic retries do not reset it.

Set both limits to continue. Nothing starts automatically.

What happens at the limits?

The first part closes after the part length you chose (1 hour by default), or when you stop. Each delivered part updates one growing stream note.
Discord needs a recording you explicitly select. Past private calls are not accessed.
Unconfirmed charges remain reserved against your budget. A small storage overrun is possible while the last file closes; low free disk space also stops recording.
Finished footage is removed only after its knowledge reaches the vault. Unfinished footage and completed knowledge are kept.
Source-time links are shown only where the recording can be mapped to the original broadcast. Gaps and unknown times stay marked. No local screen OCR.
